this will be done in partner with marine and other industries to improve products, facility, and manufacturing methods and processes to reduce environmental footprints created by the manufacturing market. 

MSI strives to accomplish these goals using a working group to acquire government funding and support of the industry to share/develop technologies with each other to promote sustainability in the marine industry.
